Injuries and Pathologies – with Samantha Wood

We are thrilled to welcome Samantha Wood as a guest educator at BASI Australia in 2019. She will bring her three day certification course ‘Injuries and Pathologies’ to Sydney in August 2019.

This course teaches Pilates instructors how to use Pilates appropriately for clients with medical problems or pathologies.

Over three days Sam will take students through the entire body and talk about commonly encountered injuries. She’ll look at definitions, causes and symptoms of common injuries and pathologies and educate you on what you as a Pilates instructor can do for your client.

You’ll learn how to help certain conditions with practical exercises and which exercises to avoid so you don’t exacerbate certain conditions. Sam explains more in this short video.
